The atmosphere in #1 is excellently captured and really lends to the mood and setting. The exposure is just right with the sun peaking in just enough.

The first image really draws me in. I like the bits of color in the trees and the mossy green rocks. The misty look to the air adds to the beauty.

excellent, especially #1. i'd be tempted to punch up the colors in the trees, though, just to offset the darker colors in the rest of the picture...

Beautiful shots, Phil. I love the misty look. The water flow in the second one is especially interesting. That must have been a pretty long shutter speed I'm guessing.

Thanks for comments everyone, appreciated.

I have found a 5 - 15 sec exposure enough to show the water trails depending on water flow, will post a few more soon that I shot last Sunday, in faster water 5 secs gave best results.

Wonderful shots, Phil. The waters have an almost mystical quality....complimenting very well the overall feel to the misty scenes.

Very nice Phil. I love the delicate trees and branches with fall color in the first image and atmosphere and the fantastic "S" curve in the second image. What can you do to blend these together...Hmmmm shot at different focal lengths makes it very tough to do. so if I had to choose I would go with your second image and possibly crop it from the bottom up so the S curve start in the lower right corner, almost a square crop.
