Good deals on cameras?

So I'm about to buy my first dslr camera but I want to find a good deal before I buy. I've been using Groupon a lot and it's great - does anyone know if there's any similar deal sites for photographers? Like (spammy site*) but for cameras instead? I've been looking out for rebates, but overall it's been pretty hard to find good deals. Thanks a lot, I appreciate any help! :)

*Mod edit: I've deleted your link because that site is pure spam. You can't do anything there until they have your e-mail. Please don't post that again. Thanks, ziggy.

I recommend purchasing from a legitimate dealer, and a dealer with a good record for service after sale. A "bargain" is no bargain if you can't get service.

For a new camera I strongly suggest:

Used cameras can be good values, and most of my camera bodies were purchased used. Most of my used bodies were in fact purchased in our own Flea Market, while most of my used lens purchases were from the following:

http://www.keh.com/ specializes in used equipment and they have a very fair grading system and excellent return system when required. They also offer a standard 6-month warranty on their used equipment.

Refurbished cameras and refurbished lenses are another pretty good method for saving on initial purchase price. Several of the major camera manufacturers offer refurbished items in their own stores.

Finally, there are customer loyalty programs available where you turn in a broken camera in exchange for a refurbished model at a greatly reduced price. Our Flea Market has some tips on how this works:
