It's always such a joy to photograph someone who is so natural and so photogenic. :) She was also quite silly and we just had such a great time. :D

You did a very nice job of capturing her personality. Careful with your exposures though -- her face is blown out in 4-6 and underexposed in 1-2 (except the hotspot on her nose in 2). Also your color balance is all over the place: far too magenta in 7, 9, 10 and far too yellow/green in 1-5.

    I agree.

4,5 and 12 are my favorite.

As for critique, I agree with my colleagues about the color balance issues. However, I definitely wouldn't call the exposure in 4 and 5 "blown out", just a little hot.

A few hundred bucks spent on strobes, a good meter (sekonic 358 or similar) and a portable power pack would be money really well spent for you.

In 4 & 5 you do have alot of lost detail. You need to create more depth in your images by use of light and shadow. Remember dark colors receede and bright colors come forward so you then create depth.

Others have talked about all the blown highlights so I'll just say "me too".

On the other hand, except for # 8 which I don't like at all, I really like how you caught her personality. She's also a seriously pretty kid.

    Nice job.
