Alright,
Let's have a little fun shall we? Which movie stands out in your mind as the best of all time for landscape cinematography? I am talking about the kind which makes you want to fly there tomorrow to photograph. My vote has to go to a recent movie I saw which was filmed in Iceland - Beowolf & Grendel.
The scenery in this movie is more visually stunning than anything I've ever seen. Forget the story, which is pretty good if you like this sort of thing. The first thing I did after watching it was check flight prices from San Francisco to Iceland. What an amazing place!!!
Could any film top Beowolf & Grendel? I look forward to hearing your answers?
BTW, if you haven't watched it yet its on netflix instant play right now! Do check it out if you have a chance. You won't regret it, except for the troll maybe .
