Wow the Great Blue with a Grebe gee nice captures. Very nice Glossy Ibis image and the Reddish Egret is really a Tri-Colour Heron. Nice series of images.

This was at the Bolsa Chica reserve in Huntington Beach, CA. He was trying forever to get it down but wasn't successful. I don't think it would have even fit down its throat if it got that far. Must have been hungry.

Fascinating behavior. You'd think they'd have a pretty good idea about what they can get down their hatch, but I guess not.
