Travel tripod

WTB: Travel tripod, aluminum or Carbon fiber, excellent functional condition, cosmetics secondary. Must collapse to closed length of 16.5" or less, extend to 59". Prefer design similar to "travel angel" style, with legs reversing back over tripod head. Thanks.

    I have a Gitzo GT2330ex thats for sale but it only folds down to 21 inches... it has a Gitzo ball head on it. PM Me if you are interested....

    I can't offer you a tripod but I can give you a suggestion on what you want. Check out Feisol tripods. Carbon fiber, super light, super strong, and they fold really small (even back over themselves like you wanted). I absolutely love mine as do 2 of my friends that have them.

    I agree with your comments, but am attempting to find a used travel tripod at lower cost, since I have several other excellent pods for normal use.

    China retailers sell Benro travel angel tripods on Ebay for a very nice discount. The only downside is a 3-4 week warranty service turnaround time if its a lot of damage. Since you're looking for used the warranty is still a bonus ;)

    Not all offer warranties, so find a seller that offers the warranty.

    dc-photo-stuff is a very good seller with great customer service who offers a 3 year warranty, and fully paid 7-10 day postage both ways if something goes wrong. They always respond quickly to my questions with good knowledge of their product.

    And really, what defines good price? A used $500 tripod for $300 or a new $250 tripod for $200 with all the features and capability, and with a warranty? Value comes into play too since the more expensive one might be way too much for what you need it for.



    I'm actually about to buy the Travel Angel A2692TB1. Not sure about the warranty through this seller, but this is the least expensive one:
