Flag Runner

I haven't been shooting for a while, but cruising through some shots from last year, I found this runner near the flags in DC. She seemed pretty care-free and apart from the uptight tourists.

    I really like the shot overall, but I'm not sure I would have paid much attention to the runner if you hadn't pointed her out.

    This is a shot about flags first and clouds second (and both so very well done). Runner adds a nice touch to it.

    You're both right, and I must confess the flags were my main subject at the time, but there was something about the runner, it would have been more about her if I had been positioned differently or perhaps closer (she's too small here I think)...

    This was one of those shots that I had set aside for quite a while before coming back to it, so maybe that had an impact on how I see it now vs. how I saw it then.
