    Experiment, Experiment & Experiment.

I love my Cokin Z set (which is the 4x6 size with .3, .6, .9 GND) and wish LEE would get their s(*& together and start producing the big stopper again... unless they have given up on that filter all together.

I don't see myself ever buying a "normal" screw-on filter again, just seems like a waste now that I have one filter that fits any lens, which is nice. :)

Lee still produce the big stopper. I have ordered mine 2 weeks ago and it will arrive at my place this Monday. I can not wait.

Well, here in the US, it's a big clusterf*ck because nobody has them. NOBODY. For 7+ months I've been looking to buy one, I finally contact Lee via their website to see what the hell was going on because it's really getting old.

Try www.linhofstudio.com they ship abroad. I ordered mine two weeks ago and has arrived. It is a small company so the queue is not so bad. Call them or order online - I would suggest to call.

Try 2filter.com -- I waited and waited for the Lee NDG filters to come in stock anywhere and finally just bit the bullet and ordered some from 2filter (due to the recommended by others on this site) along with the mount and I had everything in my hands in about 2-3 weeks! I think Lee filters are just one of those things you have to get in the queue for, so order them before you need them. 2filter did a great job of keeping me apprised of the state of my my order (like immediately telling me that both the mount and filters were out of stock when I placed the order) and every step of the way, so I'll use them next time I need filters.

    Roak

Ps. Before anyone has to point it out, yes, their website is just about the worst I've seen.

Yep, I often use Google to search their site as opposed to using their index system.

FYI, I sent an email shortly after I posted my frustration with Lee and got a response this morning...
I apologize for your frustration. We are just as disheartened by the backorder situation as our customers are. Our customers’ loyalty is incredibly important to us. The main reason we have such strong customer loyalty is due largely in part to the quality of our products. Our camera filters are all hand made. Each product we ship out is produced with the highest quality materials and care with each single piece.

Currently, our UK factory simply cannot keep with up the demand. However, rectifying this situation has been our company’s priority and we have made great strides in ramping up the production in the last couple of months. We are hoping to see a large influx of shipments shortly. We are hoping to have all our backorders fulfilled by early next year. I suggest you get onto a waiting list for the products you are interested in purchasing. When they are available, you will be notified by the dealers.
Thank you for taking the time to voice your frustrations. We see these emails often and only hope that you will continue to be patient for stock to be available. We are doing everything we can to speed up the process and be able to provide our customers with their orders.
