How to select multiple galleries...more easily

When adjusting gallery Settings, there's an option to select Multiple galleries ... but when you invoke it one has to tunnel through categories and subcategories to keep selecting the ones you want. Galleries not in categories/subcategories are in this listing in a somewhat random way, too. Together, the inconvenience makes selecting multiple galleries a loathsome task that I tend to avoid altogether.
So that's the problem. Anyone have a solution?

The galleries that aren't in a sub category will appear under the category they are placed in. The order in which they are put there is alphabetical. Take your restaurant gallery for instance. It is in the Food and Drink category, but is not in a sub category. So, it will display in the dropdown under the Food and Drink category for your multiple gallery settings option: http://screencast.com/t/50DxBVASNY0
Let's look at a category that has more galleries in it, this way you can see the order. Have a look here: http://screencast.com/t/LTn9X6ryj
If you would like for all of your galleries that aren't in a sub category to display in the same category, you can make that change. All galleries default to the Other category, unless you select otherwise.
