I haven't been on here in a while... Went thru a bit of a "rut" this Summer and didn't get the camera out of the bag that often, but here's a headshot of my 8 year old Belgian Malinois, Braxton.

Natural light coming through the blinds in my bedroom.. At first the lines of light bothered me, and I almost scrapped this photo all together, but it grew on me.

All comments, suggestions, and opinions appreciated!

The natural lighting you chose definitely gave this shot some character. Your use of selective depth of field helps a lot, too. The colors are strong and complementary. For me, this image really works well. Good job. thumb.gifthumbthumb.gifthumbthumb.gifclap.gifclapclap.gif
Sitting quietly, doing nothing. Spring comes and the grass grows by itself.

Thank you Jiro! I was worried the background was too busy, but, I agree that the colors work well with his coat color.
