El Capitan Waaaay After Sunset

Took the family up to Yosemite the day after Thanksgiving to do the "tourist thing". Missed sunset, but I got here as the last bit of light faded on El Capitan. Had a tough time trying to focusing (no live view and poor eyesight) so this may be a bit soft.

Very nice feel to the shot. Focus appears to be on the rocks in the stream.

For your consideration: turn it into a square photo by cropping the top section (the actual El Cap) so that it becomes a stream and reflection shot mostly.

Ooooh. I'm not the OP, but I love that idea!

Removing the top portion? Sounds like an idea since the foreground is in focus and El Capitan is a bit soft at 100%. thumb.gif
