DGrin Mini-Challenge #133 - TableTop Photography

The new Challenge is "TableTop Photography" in which your subject is a still life
or arrangement of your choice. Though the Official Rules say that the photograph
can be from your archives, I prefer "fresh" shots. The whole idea of a mandate in
something like this is to get you out and shooting on assignment and not rooting
through your old shots to see what fits. But, archive shots are allowable and I won't
check the exif data.
Since I understand that not all of you live in Florida as I do, and getting out may not
be possible, this assignment allows you to stay warm and dry and click away. Submit one
to three images in a single post, but make sure each image has its own title. The winner
will be a single image, and it's possible for one submitter to have more than one image
in the top three.
The Challenge will run from today until Wednesday, December 21st. A bit shorter than
some Challenges, but later that week before Christmas is when I'll be doing my Christmas
shopping...not that I'm a procrastinator or anything.
Here are some of mine to give you an idea:
Mango and Strawberries (still life):
My Grandfather's Knife (objects):
A Brush in Hand (whimsy):
Good luck, and be an active participant with your comments.

#1. You knew someone was going to. I figured it may as well be me.
#2.
#3.
I like #1, except it appears there are a couple of highlights on the right lens. As for #2 and #3, the washout from the flash is so obvious it kind of ruins them.

this Wednesday (December 21st). Plenty of time to get something
in.
"Tabletop" is an indoor sport that can be done any time of day or
night. It's a perfect way to unwind after fighting the mall traffic.

These are stunning! I especially like the peas.
I love this light paint! I had hoped to shoot something similar. This is terrific.
Wonderful subject matter.
