Mount Batur in Bali

I took this picture on my recent trip to Indonesia. This is the view at sunrise from Mount Batur, 1717 m, a volcano in the center of Bali. I used a 30 s exposure time, and by chance a couple of other hikers walked by with their flashlights on - this gave the ghostish traces on the left.

The volcano in the distance is Mount Agung, at 3400+ m Bali's highest mountain.

Sweet, and you even got free light-painting! How far did you hike to get this shot?

It was a good 3 hour hike, starting at 3 am, so that we'd be on the top at sunrise. Not an easy hike either, over the loose lava rocks, but great views! And it being that high it was actually quite pleasant, not tropical-hot.
