It was Sunday afternoon. We went to the city to meet friends and have afternoon tea. Idly wandering back to the station, we came across many of Melbourne's denizens. It was quite surprising, as we had no idea the zombies had been let loose!
When I opened the thread I thought that #1 was a
photograph of a beating victim with unsympathetic
cops. The rest of the images changed my perception.
I think #1 would be improved by cropping out the
policeman on the left. #7 has impact, but - again -
cropping so she isn't dead-center would improve
it. There's some on the right that could go.
Now THAT looks like it was a lot of fun to shoot.... And I bet they were all quite willing to play the part.
Great series of shots. Can you give us an idea of what the event was?
Thanks. It was the Zombie Shuffle. I think a belated celebration of Halloween. It really was a chance encounter on my part. I was lucky that I had the 50mm on the camera. It's a great lens for street shots.

#5 is the most ghoulish for me.
