I am not a garage sale person, let alone a roadside scavenger. I couldn't
pass this up, though. This home-made copystand was on the street on
trash collection day.
I've always wanted a copystand, but every time I've decided to spend
some money on something camera-related, something else has had
priority. Free is good.
Here's the stand:
and here's a quickie shot taken using it:
I didn't bother with setting up any lights. I just shot this outside
with ambient sunlight.
Next purchase has to be some sort of neutral backdrop material.
