Little Kids + My House = Not Good

So we had a few friends over tonight. These are mutual friends of my wife and I. We get together for happy hour every now and again. Since is closed to Christmas, we decided to invite them over to our home instead of going to a bar. Well, one of our friends decided to bring her two kids. A 5 and 2 year old. NOT GOOD.

We have a lot of breakables all over our home. Wooden carvings, vases, stuff like that. So, I got stock "baby sitting" them. I followed them around and took photos of them. Only thing I could think of doing to keep them busy. They loved it. The odd thing is that mom said they refuse to take photos with everyone. She hasn't seen these yet since I just took them. I think she'll be happy.

These two kids are freaking adorable.

Nice series, I like the title as well. But lets look at the positief side, they gave you joy and lots of photographic oppertunities that you grabbed and captured. Well done.

Thanks DS. I love kids but they can be a little scary when unattended.

Nice work! I tend to do the same thing with our grandkids. Follow them around with the camera and all seems to go well & the parents love it.

Thanks guys. These little guys sure are cute. I sent the link to Mommy today and she called me immediately. Loved them. Said these are the best photos anyone has ever taken of them. It was quite awesome to hear how happy she was. Mommy said that while in our driveway when they were leaving, Michaela told her that she loves me and asked when they could come back. Laughing.gif. I love little kids this age but I have a special spot in my heart for little girls. OH... that always sounds so creepy when I say it out loud but they remind me so much of my daughter when she was that age. I miss those times.

    Here are a few more.

    Dude.

    DDUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDE.

These just rock it in so many ways. And I can totally imagine our "tough" hermano hanging out with the kids to try and avoid total breakables chaos.

Thanks Diva. One day, maybe you'll meet me IRL and you'll see that "tough" is probably not a word you'll use to describe me. Maybe "goof ball" or "dork", but tough, I don't think so.

Thanks for the comment about the stairs. That's my handy work. They were carpeted when we bought the house. I had those railing made and then I installed them. Replaced the framing on the bottom steps. Also replaced the treads with solid oak and did all the tile work on the risers.

Thanks John. Yeah... that's one of my 3 dogs. I think that's Potato. I can tell by her right ear and how it's cocked back slightly.

Thanks David. We need to go shoot some street down in Venice or maybe Downtown. I need more victims for my 100 Stranger Project.
