Welcome!
This particular thread is for posting your (or someone else's) best work of the year (one image). The only requirements are: you have permission and it was posted elsewhere on Dgrin during the year. If you need any other help finding your way around, feel free to post in the Dgrin Forum Support forum.
I've been holding off because I couldn't make a decision about whether to post my own image, or that of another photographer. In the end I decided to go the selfish route and post this...I give myself permission:
2011 was a long and rough year for me healthwise and I have not picked up the camera since last June. (Not even sure where it is at the moment.) Did manage to get a couple of images early in the year, both of which were shot for the DSS Challenges. My favorite of the two is this one. Currently titled The Stars Look Down.
Realized that my prior post wasn't actually posted on Dgrin since I just took it... so here is my new entry. I posted this as my entry in the Challenges.... it's mine so permission granted.

Here's a favorite from an e session I shot earlier in the year. It was posted in the "weddings" forum a few months back.
