Swollen creeks in the Great Smoky Mtns.
(My step daughter saw this and said it looked like a big nose coming out of the water!....to which I replied, "then...RUN!...RUN!..." :-)

    Really nice, Terry!! It looks amazingly like a nose! You did a great job preserving the water textures and contrasts, despite the dynamic range.

    Just out of curiosity, where is this? I spent some time in that part of the world many moons ago, working as a raft guide for Nantahala Outdoor Center (mostly on the Chattooga river). I really miss it there!

    It looks like the nose of a sea turtle to me. I love the power of the water in this shot.
