It was quite moody and broody...kind of weird. I like the pano but I like the vastness of the second. C&C always appreciated....

    Eia- these are great. I agree- kind of tough to pick one over the other. Great layers of mountains and light.

    Excellent! I like the pano. It keeps my attention on the mountains and I like the proportion better. Well done!

    I really like these! It doesn't hurt that the country looks familiar. The pano is better, I think, because the clouds at the top of the second one don't add much.

    Yes, I agree and I so enjoy taking local landscape pics as much as the grand familiar landscapes we know and enjoy. I too like the pano. thanks for commenting.

    I like the dramatic sky and that lighting running through the middle of the image.

    Eia, where were you? This reminds me of areas you can see from near Bartlett Lake, but really of the whole region between Seven Springs and the Superstitions.
