I'm downgrading from Pro in a couple of days and need to remove all my watermarks before then :(
Can I do this with Smugbrowser ? I can't find where to download it now. Which is the latest version of FF it works with please?

Cheers,
Caroline

This is not something that SmugBrowser does, I'm sorry. The way to do it is to go to each gallery, and choose Tools>watermarking, select all the photos and choose to remove the watermark.

Yes Andy I know about going to every gallery thank you!
I recalled it was possible to bulk add watermarks - are you absolutely sure it isn't possible to remove them with Smugbrowser? Either way can you point me to the download for Smugbrowser if it still exists, and does anyone have the answer about Firefox please?

    Hi Caroline,

There is not a way to bulk add watermarks, sorry.

You can go here, and download SmugBrowser: http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=47484

As far as the most recent version of Firefox, it should work with any version 3 and up.

Work around for bulk removal of watermarks??
I made a new blank watermark - which I then applied to multiple galleries in Gallery settings but this doesn't appear to be working nowheadscratch.gif When I set it individually to a gallery it worked fine.
    What is going on?

What are you trying to accomplish with a blank watermark?

Save me the extreme tediousness of going to every single gallery one by one to delete the watermark.

I tested this on one gallery and it worked ie NO WATERMARK so then I went into gallery settings, selected multiple galleries, watermarking -yes, selected my new ''watermark' which is in fact blank and called that, which I understand would be applied to all galleries - JOB DONE!!
Except it has only worked on some galleries.

Wouldn't it be so much easier if you had a feature to simply remove all watermarks.

    Removal of watermark
Andy, I have a customizer working on my new site and I had several different types of watermarks used throughout my SmugMug life which I want to completely removed as we are doing a major overhaul.

I tried to do it in the gallery settings and clicked on all galleries but no luck and the customizer I'm working with said that should of resolved it. Instead, I've found myself having to go through each of my galleries and remove them individually which is painful. I've done it several times over the past week to no avail. Any help would be appreciated aka, can you guys "do it for me" or let myself or the customerizer know how to resolve

    Thanx

Omari, are you going to each gallery, using tools, many photos, watermarking, selecting all the photos in the watermarking tool, and clicking remove, watermark button? That's the process.

    Andy,
Unfortunately yes I am which is extremely time consuming and non-value added for me.

Honestly, I expected the watermarking feature, application and removal, to be done under gallery settings, multiple galleries as it appears that's its function...just like that is the role and function for all other features on that page.

Previous person mentioned putting a blank watermark to "override" all the others but it still had "limited" success.

So I'm back to square one...

Here's a trick I learned the other day. Click the Homepage Layout button then click Timeline. Once the timeline appears on your homepage, click "all" right above it. It may take a while to load the next page, but it will looks like a SmugMug style gallery with all your photos in it. Then click Tools > Many Photos > More > Watermarking. On the next page click Remove, Select All, then the Watermark button. This also will take some time as it is unwatermarking all the photos on your site.

    Hope this helps!
