Did anyone know that the top 10 (approximately .2% of total registered users)posters here on dgrin have posted 28% of the total posts here since inception?

Andy has posted 5.2% of the posts alone!



And yes, this is the kind of thing I end up doing when I am bored.

Yeah, I figured that. But, it's natural that the mods would have most of the posts. They need to comment on lots of pics to keep things going.

Now tell us who the top 10 posters are. Who of them is NOT a mod?

Absolutly normal, I would expect nothing less. Although not a big joiner, over the course of time I have been involved with a few different organizations, and without exception a small number of core members have without exception been the glue, and driving force that keeps these organizations chugging along.

Never stopped me. The scary thing is I have 5000+ here, 10,000+ on DPR and 800+ on Nikon Cafe. I need a life soooooo bad.

Boy Ginger, you practically do this full time. I'm not even in the top 25. Just missed. Guess it's because I went back to work after my convelescence. But, I miss being able to spend more time taking pictures. I do try to pop in almost every day though.

What's also interesting (at least in my weird little mind) is the number of accounts that have never been used to post. It's nearly HALF, some dating back to Jan 2004. Do people create accounts just to have them? I know personally, I lurked on dgrin for... wow... months maybe... before I created an account to post a reply on a thread.

.......this thread has gotten more attention than any pic I have ever posted.

Maybe that is why a lot of people don't post?

Cause they are nervous or scared of critique of their work. I love posting my shots (not that I have posted anything recently) because the comments good or bad help me to learn. I think i have progressed way faster because of dgrin than I would have on my own. I still have a very long road ahead but that means a long time to meet interesting people on here and hopefully make some friends along the way.

So to the Top Ten and also to anyone that has even made one post, keep up the good work.
