The Santa parade made it to my corner local. Nothing special, just a few quick grabs for giggles.

Yes, #4 is the better of the group for me too. Nice angle, but at first I thought it was a reversed image with the steering wheel on the 'other' side. :D

For some reason, I keep wishing that your images were in black and white. And that Rainbow's posting of the event were in color. ne_nau.gif

Last year I tried similar shots to your first two without success -- it is difficult to get a feel for the participants and sheer numbers of the event. Like mine (unposted), these fall short.

Everything about #4 is wonderful, from the framing with the green on top edge, to the expressions of the women and the washed out windshield with hints of many Santas. But what I especially love is the anonymous hand on the window frame on what appears to be a moving (or soon to be) car. What is he doing!? (And I haven't seen "wing" windows on cars in the US in decades).

Looks as if that gal in #4 is getting ready to back up over somebody.

I like the last one. That woman's expression frozen in time. Really cool.

Is it possible in #4 the guy's arm we're seeing he's actually pulling the car backwards and she's steering a dead car? Based on the shot previous I'd get the impression it's a clunker at best and his arm is fairly strained or he's just a pumped up/buff guy. The other hand looks like it's pushing as well...
