You all know the sunrise, it is for the challenge, but I put it here, too. So we know what I went to the beach for in the first place. Since I was there, I looked around a bit.

(can't see the dog, probably)

Below is the sun's glow on the waves. I have already posted this, sorry, on the challenge decision thread, but wanted to share in case you haven't seen it. thanks for looking,

    Great Ginger,

I see two dogs. I love the light. I love the dog in the wave. That's my favorite. But, I like the last one with the waves too. It's like a painting. Great wave action. Looks like you were standing in the water, I like the angle and the light. Very well done.thumb.gif

    Nice Work
I really like the first and last shots. Were you standing in the water for the last one?

I did not get wet yesterday, so I couldn't have been standing in the water. For the most part I was using my 400 mm Prime lens, so I am sure that is how I took it. I took about 3, this was the best, IMO.

I was sitting on some rocks for most of the shots (the rest were blurred, but don't tell anyone. I planned to use the monopod, but when I got there I realized that it was in my husband's van: out of town).

As the tide started to come in, the water on the other side of me came further up the beach than the water did on my side. That makes no sense, I thought I would have to move my stuff, but I didn't. Maybe that is how I got that shot???? Actually, I think I was just lucky. It was taken too early in the shooting for the water to have been anywhere near me.

    Thanks for stopping and commenting.
