Hi,

just in case of, I like to know what's happening when one's album has been hacked, for whatever reason, and if so, what can I do to block an intruder. Can there be a risk that I loose (all) my photos and, if so, is there a possibility to restore what has been lost?

Thanks

If you believe someone may have obtained the login details for any of your accounts, you should make sure to change the password on the account in question and your email account as soon as possible. Your email account could be used to gain access to a variety of services and you should use a separate, secure password for email to minimize the risk of someone gaining access to your email and with that to other accounts associated with it.

If you can't get into your SmugMug account, contact us at our HelpDesk with details:

as this requires exchange of public information that we can't do on a public forum.

    However
    Thanks Sebastian, Danke!

OK, but when I'm a bit too late for whatever reason somebody can empty the whole album isn't it??

In such a case is there a way-out to recover what I saved before?

If you email our help desk in fast enough, there's the possibility we can recover it. But after a period of time they are un-recoverable.
