Couple of xmas refractions shots. The raimdrops were on a spider's web strand between two water barrels and I managed to wedge the Christmas cards behind them.

Brvheart - I was using an MPE-65 lens on a 5Dmk2 body with a bracket mounted and diffused 430Ex flash. Shots taken around 2 or 3:1 magnification and focus stacked using zerne stacker. The Christmas cards were about 2" behind the drops and upside down.

If I post it, please tell me how to make it better. My fragile ego can take it.

Ian - Sorry no setup shot- you would have just seen a smallish christmas card wedged beween two barrels. I was handholding the camera, resting my left hand against one of the barrels for some support.
Snowgirl - enjoy your xmas macro lens
