Rare Bird for North Amertca
This is a heavy cropped shot, but this bird has all the Local Birders going nuts. I am not a list keeper:deal but I guess those who do keep them this is a Lifer. I was told about this bird a week ago when talking to birders at another refuge. They were very excited about it. Today I saw 2 Eurasian Widgeon and this Falcated Duck also a Asian Native. I was just going by the refuge to check out conditions for the Photo Blind Reservation next week. There was a guy digiscoping with his cell phone he pointed it out to me so I shot some shots and took some video he was in sleep position mostly i managed to catch a couple of head shots. Found out that it is only the 3rd time to be sighted in California

At our spring Audubon meeting field trip I spotted an Eurasian Wigeon, 8th state record,
and set the whole area in panic getting there. So I can imagine the excitement.
Murphy says "all rare bird finds are at over 200 yards".

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
