For a while now I've been lurking here, admiring the beautiful images you folks make of all things teensy.
Hubby has to work tomorrow (Christmas Day) so Santa came early to our house today. In his pack he delivered:
MP-E 65mm f/2.8 1-5x macro lens
MR-14EX Macro Ring light
Stack Shot rail system
Now it's time for me to read the manuals, read the stickies in the forum, and learn how to use this fabulous gift.
All advice gratefully accepted.
I live in Maritime Canada and our winters are long, cold and photographically challenging for those of us who HATE the flippin' cold. So, this will be my winter project. Looking forward to the challenge.

I did set up this morning indoors and experiment somewhat. once I pick a few (out of the 49 I shot) I'll start another thread begging for advice.
