I haven't been posting too much lately. Here are a couple of shots from the past few months. C&C always appreciated.

1. Fog, trees, and a root.

2. Steam rising from a creek on a cool fall morning.

Hi, I like both of these, especially the composition and processing of #1.

    Cheers, Richard.

I like the first one but it would help if the tree on the right in the background were vertical.

I really like #2. It made me think of a cold but humid morning.

I like both of them, especially the first as it has a creative feel to it. my only cc would be if it was possible to take a step to the left or right so the root did not merge with the smaller tree. The root has a lot of artistic value to it. Maybe just it and the large tree would be a stronger comp. Not sure, just guessing and I love what you have right now anyway.

    Thank everyone for your comments.

Cornflake - I didn't even notice that the tree in #1 wasn't vertical; I'll have to fix that.

Doug - I noticed that tree in the background after the fact. I'll hopefully have an opportunity to reshoot the scene next summer; I was running late for work that day so I didn't have a lot of time.
