Ruby, my 6 year old, just received a 400d for Christmas. So, she borrowed a 75-300 zoom from her granddad (to match mine on my shiny new 40D) and off we went. These are the 3 best shots she had, plus a bonus Meerkat job..."Simples!".

Processing BY RUBY with some instruction from me on the first one...she did the second and third ones herself. Meerkat was a joint effort. :)

There are fence issues on the lion, and a bit of movement on the meerkat, but not bad, I reckon!

And this is a photo by me of TinyTogger in action...as you can see, it's understandable that we attracted a few stares. We then got into a nice conversation with an older couple with cameras...they didn't realise the camera really was Ruby's! :)

So, I present to you...Princess TinyTogger!

    Howdy,

What a wonderful thrill that has to be for and Ruby alike, having
a new Shooting Partner, and from the look of her first images
you'll have to keep on your toes :D:D:D

Congratulations Ruby, beautiful images, well seen and
    captured.

Look forward to seeing more of your images Ruby.
    Take care,

It's great, and I hope she keeps the enthusiasm as she gets older...it will be great to have a shooting partner long term. :)

She did well for a lil'un, eh? :)
