I do understand that English is a second language for many posters here. So you mean 'poser'?

So much pavement at the bottom of the image seems unnecessary.

I like the body language of the kid -- very expressive (with the ambiguity of "what"). I am puzzled by his right hand position, which seems unnatural.

Ben I have noticed that you seem to do a fair amount of shooting on the streets.
Would you mind sharing some of the techniques you like to use most, for example shooting from the hip, and what you find works best for you ? Do you mind attracting attention, or would you prefer to get a good candid shot, and get out unnoticed ? :help

    Flattered that you ask.

The only techinque I have that's written in stone is:
I always have a camera with me and ON!
always looking for a photo op

When I see someting that interests me I will use whatever will work to bring the shot home.

I do prefer up close and a low angle most of the time.
I also normally just shoot and move on, don't try to attract much attention.

After thinking about my reply here, I must say that I do not try to keyhole
myself into any one particular type of techinque and try to deal with each phot op as it appears.

    Again thanks for asking.
Maybe I should work on a more distinct answer :Dne_nau.gif
