    Not the typical Ponte Vecchio and Duomo shots. mwink.gif Scooters all the way to the vanishing point is a more accurate rendering of Italian life today. Nice composition, color and light in #2. Well done. thumb.gif

    I agree. #2 is very good, as Richard says, color and light is excellent. I also like the pose of the man.

    Thanks for the comments.
    I don't see any need to take pictures of the 'sights.'
    What can I say about them photographically that hasn't been said a million times already by better photographers.

    Glad to see someone else that gets up early to shoot a city before it gets peopled... :D

    Like this for example.
    Schlepping heavy camera, camera bag, runner boots and tripod with wooden legs to set up in salty, polluted water (the tide had receded by the time I had come back with a camera) in heavy overcast to take a picture that has been taken 10,000 times before.

    I just don't get it.
