While I've never been on assignment, I can certainly understand where this guy is coming from on his methods of shooting. I've been in a dozen different countries this year and each has required a unique approach to photographing its residents to varying degrees.
I guess I should look at some of my old travel shots and post them here. Most are in the style mentioned above, I only occasionally gett someone interested in posing.
As I get ready to start my next year of traveling, I hope I can take what I've learned here in street and put it to good use.
