Great shot. I feel like I'm looking a mile into this image.

Yes, Lawrencetown is about 30 minutes outside Halifax and faces the Atlantic Ocean. There are many entrances to this beach and I found this entrance by luck. I had no idea it was there. About 2 km down the beach is the entrance the surfers use and that's where I usually go for some pics.

Thanks... I appreciate your comment as I am brand new to the camera. Again, I didn't realize how good this shot was till I got home. I guess it's beginners luck. I might print this one. By the way, the beach/snow/water and sky on the other side of this boardwalk is really nice as well. I snapped about 50 pics that Christmas Day afternoon.

    This is wonderful.

Somehow I've managed to miss Halifax on both of my too quick visits to Nova Scotia. It looks like I need to schedule another trip!

I used to live in Dartmouth and boarded my horse near that beach. My favourite place to go walk and clear my mind. Nicely done!

I'd be glad to play tour guide any time you are back this way.

On the same road to this entrance of the beach is a barn with many horses. I did snap a couple of shots of both and I bet that is exactly where you boarded them. I agree, there is nothing better than the ocean to clear your mind.
