I shot her senior photos a couple years ago... and now she is home from college for the holidays. I love repeat clients, but these clients are some of my favorites! Even with the temperature dipping down to 7 degrees.... we had some serious fun! Its always a treat to shoot people that are "in" to it as much as I am.

Such awesomeness - saw these on FB and full of love! In particular, 10/12, although those are just two more unusual comps - all of the shots are fabulous!

I have to ask: does everybody in Alaska decorate outdoor trees, or was that special for the occasion?

A lot of people do decorate outdoor trees... though this is the first time I have seen them use the glass ball decorations. This was probably a city of Wasilla thing... since we were in the city "square".
The lights sure look pretty glowing from under the snow.

Wait, this was downtown? Wow. I seriously need to move to Alaska

Btw, also meant to say - love the way you framed them in the door in #3. Their expressions are fabulous, but the framing just sets it off. Is the brother as much a character as he looks like?

Yep... (It is a sort of colonial area, with historic buildings from the original town way back when...oh about 50 years ago. Haha.) We have to crack up because there is a big metal sign that has the words "downtown" with an arrow..... but that is pretty much the only indicator. It is a pretty small town.

Some super wonderful looking images. Number six could be a magazine ad!!!

Waiting patiently for us to get some snow here so I can try "snow shots" for the first time. If it ever happens, I might hit you up for pointers!

I LOVE the bright and airy exposures. PUSHIN' it all the way to the right, eh?

She is a beautiful young woman for sure. Number 6 is a stunner.

I'll have to be sure to share some "snow" pics as soon as we get some too. Of course, that could be anytime in the next decade so don't hold your breath!
