I made a video of my Best of 2011, in the review process I realized I do not have a consistent theme of any sort! My first and then 2nd Macro Lens (60mm & 150mm) this year; made photography a new world for me.

I threw this together in Lightroom, I am curious what software others recommend for this type of show. Allowing for the Panning of photos etc... ??

Very nice Keith! Happy New Year! I used Windows Movie Maker to make my video... it has a few different built in options such as the panning.

    Very nice Keith.
I lean more towards programs that allow exact control of the timeline. I'm a believer that less is more on transitions, and stay with simple fades and dissolves. But the exact duration, in and out point of the transition, and the "style" of the fade slope I feel are critical.
    Happy New Year!

Nice work Keith! Again even though I try to watch the small version, the slide show keeps hanging up on me. Might be our bandwidth is being use up by other users in our house. But what I saw of it, your pics are great! I use corel videostudio so I can have full editing control including using video clips in my slide shows.

Cool stuff, Keith. I'm seeing the slide shows from several Dgrinners and wanting to put one together for me 2011 stuff, too. From previous experience, I find that it tends to become a black hole that sucks me in and locks me in front of my computer for long stretches at a time. I've used iMovie, Aperture, and Lightroom. Each have their pros and cons - never really landed on a favorite. Hmm... maybe that's why it takes me so long!
