I must say, I have a whole new respect for wedding photographers. Balancing the light to properly light the face and yet maintaining balance to not loose texture in white fabric of this Keffiyeh was a bit of a challenge.
His Mom and Dad really liked this one. There are a couple of hot spots on this one, but I think they add to the shape and texture of the head wear to a certain extent. Then again, I could be wrong.

I agree
When I do wedding work I usually expose for the dress. I shoot manual, and keep the histogram in sight on image review. Instead of chimping the image I chimp the histogram. I push the exposure as far right as I am able letting only the extreme highlights of the dress slightly overexpose. The highlight warning feature on the camera lets the overexposed areas blink on image review. That way the details AND highlights are there. After the exposure its all about skin tones.
Youve got bot well in hand here.

Natural selection is responsible for every living thing that exists.
D3s, D500, D5300, and way more glass than the wife knows about.
I am waiting for some actual prints to come back to see if it will show a bit more texture that was present in the white fabric.
Very nice photo as it is, nice natural expression great background.
