My Aunt and Uncle finally decided to retire and enjoy their house on Monastery Beach in Carmel. This particular image was taken on Christmas Day. Not perfect conditions, but the clouds made for some beautiful brush strokes. Oh the joys of retirement.

Hi, I really like the different layers in the clouds - plus the colour of course :D A crop to exclude all the land would make an interesting cloud only wall hanging.

    Cheers, Richard.

Because of your comment Richard I decided to try three new crops. I think I like #2 or #3 the best...

Cloud formations with no land to add context are rarely interesting, IMHO. I like #1 of your second set the best.
