One of my New Years resolutions for the year was to get back to being focused on my photography by shooting more (2011 was crazy busy & I just didn't get out to shoot much) and processing more (cause I'm horribly awfully behind on that).
Part 1of that has worked out though I failed to notice the dust on my GNDs and all the images are scrap, but I did get out on New Years Day. And, while bored at work, I started to make good on part 2 by digging out this old image from 2009 for a bit of processing:
C&C always welcome! Part 1 of my resolution didn't work out too well, how did I do on part 2?

I was trying for high contrast between the clouds and sky, but now that you mention it, it may be a little too high contrast. I'll go back in and lighten that portion a bit, thank you!

Thank you, Doug. I went with the B/W conversion because I felt this image was "about" the textures and wanted to emphasize that. It's nice to hear that that feeling comes through.
