An outbreak of sun yesterday so I used some sugar/honey spray on a camelia bush to attract anything that was about.
Dungfly and dronefly.

Do you set up a tripod when shooting? Or do you handhold? I tried handholding my gear but the weight caused too much muscle fatigue resulting in shaking and consequently blurry photos.

These shots are amazing!! The only think I would attract in my garden right now is crows or seagulls.

    Thanks for the comments :)

Snowgirl - no I handhold but often hold a branch or a leaf the bug is on with my left hand and rest the camera lens on my hand, otherwise I often rest on whatever I can or failing that I often use a bean pole which I grip in my left hand alomg with a bit of camera.
