Nice. I rarely see photos of places like this with snow on the ground. It makes for a new experience. That may be the reason I really liked 1, 5 & 6.

This is a part of the world that I would love to visit someday, Bryce Canyon just looks like a landscape photographer's paradise. I love the first pic by the way, a large landscape that's been reduced to texture and pattern. The sky in the 3rd one looks a little too bright to me, perhaps a light burning might stop the viewer's eye travelling up and out. Only my opinion though.

Thank you Joel. 8 is funny because it was almost dark when I shot it. The longer exposure and playing around in Lightroom to bring the exposure back up gave it that glowy quality I think.

Come on down Rocky, the weather is nice. We've had a really warm, dry winter so far so it's easy to get around. I live at about 8000 feet and I was outside today in a t-shirt trimming trees. thumb.gif

Nice series, I think #8 is my favorite. The last time I was there it was in the 90s during the day and 33 when I woke up the next morning

These are wonderful! My favorites are 1 and 7.

And thanks for the reminder that it's been way too many years since my last visit to Bryce!

Thank you Denise. Living so close to Zion and Bryce I rarely visit either in the warmer months anymore.......too many people. Right now the parks are relatively empty and a lot of the people who are there are either locals or photographers. The scenery right now is still spectacular.

I hear you! I like to get to Acadia a couple of times a year and my usual choices are early spring and late fall, much quieter then. I managed a long weekend trip to Zion last February and managed to hit a snowy weekend, beautiful!

Stunning set of images there! I've never been to Bryce, but have traveled the four corners area often. I'm going to have to stop by this spring when I'm back down there.

Really a nice set. Gotta get down there when there's snow on the ground. Nicely done.
