Here is one I have been meaning to reprocess as a B&W and finally got to it. C&C welcome.

Sam, I think this is a great image for B&W and you did a terrific conversion. I find the trees on the left a bit distracting, but you did such a nice job of bringing attention to the dock in the foreground that I can ignore the trees. The tones in the trees on the right work very well, IMO. Well done!

Nice one, Sam. I kept looking for the Creature From The Black Lagoon....I guess he was out of town.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

I got my rights and lefts mixed up. It's the trees on the left that I like--they really add to the mood of this shot. The trees behind the dock, not so much. :D I must need to go back to ROTC and learn to march again.

This sets up very nice as a B/W. A really nice mix of textures in the trees and bushes and water along with the interesting hardscape of the dock. What is that horizontal line in the middle left of the image? Is that a rope in the water, it just look out of place?

This is the remains of a tree and your right is really does look out of place. I am working on a slight revamp and think I will clone this out.

    Thanks!!
