Nikon D700

Hey all. I've been waiting around along with everyone else who shoots Nikon to see what the D800 will look like before I made a decision on my next camera body. I'm not waiting anymore.

I want to purchase a Nikon D700. Obviously, the newer the better. The only "accessory", if you can call it that, that I'm interested in are hi-speed CF cards. I'm making the move from DX, so I don't own any as of yet.

I'm on several forums, but DGrin is my favorite. Hopefully, one of you will throw me a bone.

And.......GO.

To clarify, my budget is right $1900-$1950 at most. A lot of people are trying to sell the D700 for well over $2000 used, but that's ridiculous. At this point in its life cycle, the D700 should be priced in the $1700-$1800 range, given historical trends. Especially considering the D800 will be released imminently...
