videos in smugmug basic accounts

Hello everyone,

I don’t know if this subject has ever come up before, but don’t you think it’s about time to let smugmug basic account users share their videos too?

Videos have become such a fundamental feature in almost all cameras, from point and shooters to DSLRs, not to mention cell phones.

Where else would I share my baby’s first steps if not alongside all his other gorgeous photos? Should I turn to some god forsaken social network!?

Strangely I thought I posted this on "the big picture" forum rather than the smugmug support forum.

I looked for the suggestion, but didn't find it. I was going to just post the link if it was already there.

It was actually brought up several times.

To quote Andy, this just isn't in their business model. Obvious as well.

It makes sense though as videos aren't a serious part of the revenue picture yet. Can't fault them for that.
