Has anyone used these covers? Any idea of suppliers in Denver / mail order and what size would fit a D300 with 28 135 IS?

Thanks

I'm sure some will think I'm nuts, but I find traditional camera cases too bulky. I'm kind of a minimalist. So I LOVE the Zing cases. I have them for my Nikon film and Canon digital bodies and my point-and-shoot. They don't weigh a lot or take up a lot of space and they provide just enough protection and cushion so I can put it and my camera in my regular bag that doesn't say "I am carrying an expensive camera" during travels.

What I don't like is that the stretchy Velcroed odd-shaped neoprene can slow you down in terms of getting the camera out of the case and putting it back in, compared to a traditional case where you just swing it open. It's a two-handed operation. When I bought one to fit my Rebel XT I actually practiced the movements for a while so that I can now cover or uncover the camera quickly enough when I see a shot.

Size is tricky. I can't help much there because I was at a store where the salesman helped me pick the right size for my body/lens combo. And I'm not in Denver.

Of course, I may get a lot less casual about camera protection if I start buying some of the expensive glass people use around here...and I sure want to...
