Gizmo to simulate various crops on LCD screen?

Does anyone know of a plastic or metal device to help simulate crops on a dslr LCD screen? It would be nice to be able to put this up against the LCD and properly frame a 3:4, 4:5, 16:9(time lapse/video) or 1:1 ratio image. Don't want to tape up the screen to do this.
Thanks

Good idea. Why not get a piece of mat board, and cut openings appropriate to your LCD.

That's an idea Tony. Was hoping for something more durable than matboard that can be thrown in the camera bag

I'd be tempted to try masks made from thin plastic sheet - like the lids off 2L ice cream tubs (wonderful material imo - as a lapsed model maker :) ) ... and attach / align them to the cam via a QR system with one part fixed to the cam's tripod socket.

That way you'd be able to change them quite easily.

Hmmm...yet another temptation to go the Magic Lantern route. I hadn't thought of that but you can make your own crop marks and have up to 11 to choose from!

If you could find some very thin plastic sheet as mentioned earlier, make your own masks and place them between the LCD screen and the "Clip On" screen protector.

Alternatively, pick up a couple of "Clip On" screen protectors and mask them to whatever crops you require, spray them black leaving the crop area clear and then just fit whatever one on to your camera body to suit your needs. These are avaiable cheaply on ebay, will fit into your bag, and weigh next to nothing.
