so any new canon DLSR rumors out there? i can find plenty on the G1 but thats about it. I was going to upgraded to the 60d or 7d but if something new is coming out....

    Canon is at CES right now. If it doesn't show there, it's likely that the next major camera announcements will be late 3rd quarter or early 4th quarter, at the earliest.

    There's another consumer electronics / photography show coming up in a month or so, according to NikonRumors, so there's a slight chance we'll see something then. But yeah after that, nothing till late summer probably.

    There's a European show in early February I think - there are rumors of an announcement there but it'll probably be mid-2012 at least before we hear about the 5D Mark III.

    I think we might see a 7d2 before the 5d3. It's been a long time since they last updated their 1.6 crop sensor and the 7D2 will surely be the first camera to get the new sensor.
