Needs some help and advice, although the advice part may not be best posted here.

First the advice..... I am up for renewal, 2 years with SM (although my email notice says 1 which is incorrect). I've had some issues with SM, but for the most part corrected. The last was over the weekend with 1200 photos to upload and get priced before people purchase (Im not a big time seller but do sell) I got hit with the migration of pricing which honestly was a bad experience. It killed all my pricing I had set and I had to recreate (twice) the new pricing. Once done it seems easier but with 1200 images processes and trying to upload the LAST thing I needed was 2 hours of new prices.

Upon my first year I found someone to help me with my site. Got the name here and paid the guy 100 up front. 6 weeks later I had nothing to show except for emailed excuses, killed the partnership and out 100.

I spent the time and did my own customization. I dont have the time now to do that again (see below)

I've had several other issues with SM, and over the past year accumulated 30 in credit referral towards renewal from issues of the past year (Cant remember from what)

So stay with SM or look at Zenfolio? I'd rather stay at SM but sometimes I 2nd guess.

I think one thing that will help my decision is my "help" part of this post. I shoot mostly event photography, being a runner and cyclist for many years I merged my 2 hobbies together and shoot the events I used to run/ride. So a typical event I will upload 1000+ images of participants.

These participants each have a race number.

I want the ability to have my customer search only the event gallery for their race number. I want to easily be able to code that number into Bridge/PS

I want this to be easy for me to accomplish without hours and hours of learning to program, although I am very very computer literate I dont need another windmill to conquer
