A little fly

It's not a bark fly, but I'm not sure what other sort it might be. Safe to say it isn't so big, possibly about 2mm long. It was on the rotting wooden part of my old bird table (I keep it cos of the old wood!) but it is cold, windy and very wet, so the ringflash was easily picked up on the wet body. The green blob is likely to be a tiny spot of mould or fungus, or perhaps some old micro-pooh... laugh.gif

There's not much around at this time of year though.
