All Messed Up

Last night I changed my password and never received a confirmation email and I could not contact support, because you have to be logged in to do that (so wrong) So I was stuck in limbo (can't sign in/can't contact) So I had to sign up all over again. Is there anyway to rectify this so I can go back to my original account? Thanks:)
