A real good shot! I think it is wonderful. I can't decide which I like best but your title is perfect! Hmmm looks like a few places near Scottsdale...?
Thanks for all the comments. The choice is mostly a matter of intent, I think. If I wanted to editorialize about how I don't care for such places, which I don't, the larger pattern or the black-and-white version would make for a stronger editorial. I think I feel more comfortable allowing the scene to be pretty in a way. The original still conveys isolation and assembly-line living but in a little more restrained way, and I think I prefer that. It's debatable.

Travel, I took a couple the way you suggest:
I liked the pattern better but the people were too small, in my view. It's debatable.

Good question.

Better, I think. I don't mean to be picky but how about a 6 by 3 balcony crop?

the metaphor of cookie cutter housing is stronger (people no longer subject)
